Our Stand Alone Vision plan is a true indemnity vision plan that offers comprehensive benefits with no ties to a network:
- For groups with 2 or more when bundled with a BEST Life product
- Available as stand alone for groups with 5 or more employees enrolled
- Employer-sponsored and voluntary available
- No ineligible industries, industry loads or waiting periods
- Access care from any licensed ophthalmologist or optometrist
- Contacts in lieu of OR in addition to frames and lenses
Vision Discounts
Starting with 2009 effective dates, BEST Life is offering Stand Alone Vision plan participants a Vision Discount program through EyeMed.
Discounts for exams, glasses, lens options and add-ons, contact lenses and even laser vision correction are included with no limitations on frequency. Members can obtain these discounts through EyeMed's network; a BEST Life ID card will be necessary to obtain discounts.
For groups enrolled before 2009
BEST Life includes an Outlook Vision Discount Card with our vision coverage. This discount program offers access to over 10,500 optical centers and 10% to 50% off the regular retail price of eyeglasses, contact lenses, sunglasses, and corrective eye surgery. To take advantage of these discounts, members can go the Outlook website at www.outlookvision.com to locate a vision care provider within the Outlook network. An Outlook Vision Discount Card will be required to obtain discounts.
Laser Eye Surgery Discounts
All BEST Life plans include 40-50% off the national average charge for laser eye surgery procedures administered by QualSight. BEST Life members are automatically eligible to receive discounts and can do so by calling QualSight at 1-877-405-4448 before seeing any LASIK provider.
